Welcome from the coach:
Hello to
everyone!!
My name
is Kelly Robertson and it’s my second year coaching your kids on the diving
team. It’s going to be a great summer with lots of fun to look forward to.
Along with the meets and practices we’ll have a blast at the team bonfire
and of course the infamous pancake breakfast.
I’m so
excited to work with your kids again. I had so much fun last year. I expect
them to accomplish even more than last summer. With one year under our
belts, they know what to expect from me, and I having coached them know what
they are capable of...
I have
been coaching the sport of diving for 20 years and before coaching I
participated in two Olympic Games receiving silver in ‘84 and a bronze in
‘88... My whole motto with coaching is Safety, Fun and Growth. Meaning I
won’t push your child beyond their physical and mental abilities. And first
and foremost we’re going to have fun, because if you’re not having fun,
what’s the point.
I’m
totally looking forward to my second of many (I hope) years with the Arbor
Heights Diving Team. If any of you have any questions please feel free to
come up; and introduce yourselves and have a chat.
