Registration

Dive team is open to members 5-18 years old. All skill levels are welcome, but participants should be comfortable and willing to jump off the diving board and able to swim unaccompanied to the side of the pool.

2026 Team registration is now open. Sign up here! For registration fees see the fees page. Registration is required prior to starting practice, and closes the Saturday before morning practices start. Please refer to our refund policy.

Schedule

Spring dive practices are offered in the afternoon starting in late May. Morning summer practices start after school lets out for the summer, and typically run until the last week of July. Our team competes as part of the South Seattle Summer Dive League (SSSDL), established in 2008 to introduce young people to dive and encourage their enjoyment of diving in a safe and positive environment. There are three dual dive meets and the All City Dive Meet, which is typically on the last Saturday in July.

Coaches

Declan O’Grady-Graham | Head Coach

I have been involved in summer league diving for 17 years and have been coaching for 7. Safety is my top priority, along with ensuring that divers have fun. I aim to create a positive environment that emphasizes learning and development while leaving a lasting impact on each diver.
Throughout my diving career, I have worked with multiple coaches, giving me a strong understanding of effective coaching techniques as well as what to avoid. I recognize that every individual learns differently, and I enjoy identifying each diver’s unique strengths and helping them reach their full potential.
In addition to my diving experience, I have been a lifeguard at the Normandy Park Swim Club for 8 years. I also recently earned my degree in kinesiology from Washington State University, which has strengthened my understanding of the fundamentals of human movement.

Maggie Schiltz | Assistant Coach

Hi! My name is Maggie Schiltz and I am a rising Senior at the University of Colorado Boulder. I’ve been involved in diving for years through summer league, high school varsity, and club level. I’ll be returning from studying abroad in Australia right before the season starts, so I’m excited to trade one water-filled adventure for another and jump straight into coaching this summer!
