Dear members,

With Waterpolo in their final week of practices and matches, and a little chill in the air, post season has arrived. To ease everyone in to the season wind down, please read below about your final few opportunities for a little extra fun at the Arb, as well as notes about post-season schedules and Dog Days! As always, Summer comes too slow and ends way too soon.

Thank you Neighbors Celebration | August 31st, 5:30-8:30pm

We will be inviting our 31st Ave Neightbors to the pool for a party to thank them for their flexibility and support of our many many meets and late nights this summer, including all-city. There will be no guests after 4pm, but the pool will remain open during the party. If you would like to volunteer to help with the party please sign up here, VOLUNTEER.

Waterpolo

It is the last week of Waterpolo for the Summer and AHSTC will be hosting waterpolo games this week. Please check the calendar before heading down to the pool!

Girls Prelims is on Wednesday and Friday, and championships on Saturday! Good Luck Otters!

Waterpolo Post Season Party September 4th | 6pm-9pm

All Participants and families are welcome to come and celebrate the Waterpolo Season. We will be serving burgers and hot dogs after which will be an Awards ceremony. Parents and families pease sign up to help with the party here, VOLUNTEER

End of Season Housekeeping

September 12th Last Day of Adult and Open Swim. We will also be hosting our end of season BBQ at 6pm

Dog Days

September 14th-19th | Monday-Friday 4pm-7pm and Saturday 12pm-5pm

Bring your dog to the pool to get some swimming in! Everyone is responsible for their own dog and doggy messes. Look out for our form to sign up!

Return to pre/post season hours

On September 2nd, we will return to Pre-Season Hours. This wi;l be in effect for the remainder of the season.

Dear members,

We can’t believe how quickly summer is flying by! With just a few weeks left in the season, be sure to make the most of your AH summer before it’s over. We still have plenty of fun ahead, including our 21+ President’s Party, Bingo & Movie Night, and End-of-Season BBQ!

A special thank you to Abby and Presley for taking on 30 kids a week in Otters Club this summer! From games and crafts to plenty of laughter and fun, they made sure our kids had an amazing summer. Thank you both for caring for our youngest members and giving so many of our parents the opportunity to make the most of their summer while working.

New Daily Drop-In Juniors Summer Classes start this week!

Beginners ages 8 and up from 9-10:30am and Intermediates ages 11 & up from 10:30am-12pm

Advanced Performance Juniors classes on Mondays & Wednesdays 4-5:30pm.

Dear members,

Congratulations Tennis Team for the conclusion of the 2026 season! Thank you to our Dive Rep Tam for keeping everything on track for the season!

We are so grateful to Caerwyn, Siggy, and Josh from WYN Tennis for their outstanding instruction, enthusiasm, and dedication to our players all summer long. We’d also like to recognize our fantastic assistant coaches—Clara, Honora, Nicholas, Mason, and Kellen—whose energy, encouragement, and support helped make this season such a success.

Thank you for inspiring our players, building their skills and confidence, and creating a fun and positive environment on the courts. We appreciate everything you do and can’t wait to see you all again next season!

ALL-CITY NOTICE- Possible Date Change

If the API shows the air quality is too low for athletes to perform, All-City Will be moved to THURSDAY AUGUST 6th. In the event of this closure, please be informed that everything will POSSIBLY be canceled on Tuesday. The Air Quality closures may go beyond Tuesday so please look out for a text or Special Notice!

*REMINDERS*

AHSTC will be closed August 3rd and 4th for All-City preparations.

Tennis nets will be taken down for the meet, so please plan accordingly.

Members and families of SWIM TEAM, we are hosting an end of season party for you on Friday August 7th from 6-10pm. Dinner will be catered by Chipotle! If you would like to bring something or volunteer yo help with the party sign up to help here.

All-City Swim Meet

On Tuesday Aug 4, Arbor is hosting the All City swim league championships this year. WE STILL NEED VOLUNTEERS!

BBQ Helpers – Need 4
BBQ Chef – Need 1
Italian soda maker – Need 1
Taco Griddle Chef – Need 1
Main Tent Helper – Need 2
Event Flipper – Need 2 can be kids 10 and older
Dish Washer – Need 1

Additionally, we will have adjusted hours for this event!

  • Monday, August 3: Early Bird Swim only, No Open Swim.

  • Tuesday, August 4: Early Bird Swim only. The club will be closed for the remainder of the day while we host the meet.

As part of our preparations, the pool temperature will be lowered during the week leading up to the meet to provide optimal racing conditions.

New Sessions for Youth Tennis Camps 8/3-8/7 and 8/10-8/14.

  • Beginners/Intermediates, ages 8-11 are from 10:00AM-12:00PM
  • IntermediatesAdvanced, 12s,14s and AP Seniors (separated by group) are from 1:00-3:00PM

Advanced Juniors classes on Monday & Wednesday from 4pm-5:30pm. Saturdays 1-2:30pm

New Adult Singles Clinic on Mondays from 5:30-7pm and Adult Cardio Tennis Class on Wednesday mornings from 7:30AM-8:30AM All LEVELS welcome.
